Senior Scholarships Available We are in the heart of scholarship application time,  with several scholarship deadlines happening in the next few weeks.  There are lots of places to search for scholarships, and CHS has curated ours in this All Things College document, as well as on the CHS College and Career Center (CCC) website page.  Take the time to explore these opportunities-- there are many that will be due in April. In the meantime, here is our "hot list" of priorities due in the coming days and by the end of spring break-- your odds of winning are excellent!! Best wishes-- take these opportunities!  Your counseling and CCC team Elda Washer Scholarship for Cleveland and Jefferson HS seniors; open 1/2/22-3/30/23 (2pm Pacific time); amount varies (attending an OREGON school, preference for students interested in the teaching profession but open to all) Here is the link for the application.  (THIS is a great opportunity for Cleveland students) These scholarship deadlines have been adjusted to the Wednesday after Spring Break, 4/5/2023 to encourage more applications!  Take action now! Willamette Lodge Scholarship: 4/5/2023; $4,000.00 scholarship ($1,000.00/ year) Please submit to [email protected] via email. NEW!  Ormseth Scholarship!  The Milo E. Ormseth Scholarship (“Ormseth Scholarship”) is a $10,000 academic scholarship which, beginning in 2023, will be awarded each spring to a qualifying graduating senior at Cleveland (the “recipient”) to help fund the recipient’s undergraduate education at a four-year college or university. See link for eligibility and essay requirements.  Please send your complete application to [email protected] prior to midnight, 4/5/2023. CCHS Alumni scholarships and the application, which is due no later than April 5, 2022, emailed as a PDF to [email protected].  As stated before, in order to qualify for one of the five generous $2500 scholarships offered by our Commerce Cleveland HIgh School Alumni Association to CHS seniors, you need to have completed the OSAC application.
