Trivory is now available in Spanish. New Staff Directory section of the Trivory Dashboard.

Hello and welcome to the eleventh edition of the Trivory newsletter; the third this year! Here's what's new in Trivory for the Fall of 2021:

Trivory is now available in Spanish

Last week we rolled out an update to the app with a new option to choose your preferred language. The entire app has been translated into Spanish, and this update also lays the groundwork for two upcoming language features which will enable content to be translated as well.

Multilingual content and automatic translations coming soon

Soon, you'll be able to post content in both English and Spanish from the Trivory Dashboard. Users will automatically see the version that matches their preferred language.

We also know that it's not always possible to manually translate content before posting it. This can make it harder for Spanish-speaking students and families to engage, and it means that they can miss out on a lot. We are committed to helping solve this problem.

To help better connect Spanish-speaking students and families with their school, we're going to start offering users automatic translations of content that isn't available in their preferred language. Our automatic translations are powered by a sophisticated computer system called DeepL, which provides industry-leading quality and reliability. Users can choose whether or not they'd like to use this feature.

Download promotional materials from the Dashboard

You can now download flyers and social media graphics directly from the Dashboard to help promote the Trivory app to students and families. All promotional materials are also now available in Spanish.

New Staff Directory section of the Dashboard

We've completely redesigned the Staff Directory section of the Trivory Dashboard to make the process of importing a staff list spreadsheet easier and more flexible. You can also now edit contacts directly from the Dashboard.

And more!

Here are two more updates that we'd also like to highlight:

  • The app now works better across time zones, which will be helpful for students and families who reside outside of Oregon.
  • Trivory now sends you email alerts for new user feedback messages. You can manage your notification preferences from the account section of the Dashboard.

Finally, we want to give a warm welcome to the four high schools that joined Trivory this summer: Benson, Franklin, Ida B. Wells, and McDaniel. Welcome to the Trivory family! We're also excited to welcome the additional schools that will be launching on Trivory soon.
