Weekly Family Update - September 11, 2020
Hi Riders,
It's been a crazy week. I am so proud of our families and staff for their commitment to ensuring all students are able to access classes virtually. Even through the pandemic, racial unrest, and wildfires, everyone has remained focused on the needs of students.
Today, many of our students and staff are dealing with family members who are being evacuated as well as health issues because of the wildfire smoke. Staff will be checking in with students, and some staff are needing to cancel live instruction today to attend to their own families and health.
We know meal distribution has been canceled, and we want to make sure that families have the resources they need to stay healthy over the weekend. If you need assistance, you can dial 211. If you need food for the weekend - https://foodfinder.oregonfoodbank.org/ is a good place to start.
