Three Hour Early Release Tomorrow
Dear families, students, and staff,
We have been carefully monitoring the weather forecast, and have determined that, on Friday, schools will close three hours earlier than usual. We are making this decision early so families have ample time to plan. All afterschool programs will also be closed.
We will meet again tomorrow morning at 5:00am to revisit this decision in case the forecast indicates that more severe weather will appear in Portland. If we need to cancel the entire school day, we will update you then.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate this storm. There is a chance that bus drop-offs may experience delays on Friday depending on traffic patterns in the late afternoon.
We hope you are able to stay safe and warm over the coming days, and look forward to seeing students back in class on Tuesday. Just a reminder that schools are closed on Monday in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
