Current job openings start at $18 or more per hour (with a $1 hour upgrade if multilingual!), schedules are flexible, and no experience is necessary for many positions. Job opportunities for under age 18 include:

• Day Camp Counselors (age 15+)
• Teen Force Park Squad (age 15+)
• Lifeguards + Swim Instructors (age 16+)
• Summer Free for All Free Lunch + Play and Arts & Culture (age 16+)  

Positions available for age 18+ include: Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation, Music & Arts Center staff, Park Rangers, Seasonal Maintenance workers and others. Portland Parks is a great entry level Summer job that can lead to a rewarding career through multiple pathways.
