First Day of School - August 31st ALL STUDENTS
All Students First Day - Wednesday, August 31st
The first day of school for all grade levels is Wednesday, August 31st. Breakfast is free for all students and will be served in the Cafeteria and Main Entrance.
Wednesday is an A-Day (Periods 1,2,3, & 4) and students will report to their 1st Period class. Students should use StudentVUE to look up their schedules.
This is a full day for all students with the start of school at 8:30AM and end of school at 3:30PM.
Accessing Your Schedule
Access your schedule using the StudentVUE application or login using a computer. If you have forgotten your password it can be reset at password.pps.net or by visiting either the library or our onsite tech assistant in room S-156.
(if you need help accessing a paper copy, please visit the schedule table tomorrow morning outside the main entrance)
Self Screening for Daily Illness
Similar to last year all students and staff are asked to conduct a self-screen in the morning prior to arriving at school. You can use this tool every day to screen for common symptoms of illness that may require you to stay home to get better.
Self-Screening Tool
We encourage individuals to self-screen daily for illness and report to the school nurse when they are experiencing symptoms of illness listed on the self screening checklist.
Students who are feeling sick or showing symptoms are asked to stay home and contact their medical provider.
Student Drop Off and Parking
We ask that all students be dropped off in front of the school or further away if possible, to avoid congestion on Woodward. We want to do our best to keep the street clear as students and staff walk onto our campus. Please do not block driveways or attempt to drop students off in a Franklin parking lot.
Please be reminded that Franklin parking lots are for staff only during the day. We ask that students not use the parking lots. Cars found in violation are subject to tow at the owner's expense.
